Spring Tulips and Fine-Motor Work: Wednesday, May 7

On Monday, PK1 made spring tulips using popsicle sticks, cardboard cutouts of flowers, and pink and mint colored yarn.

Students colored the “stems” green with marker and then stuck the cardboard flower on the top of the stem.  They then wrapped yarn around the flower cutouts.  It was tricky to pull the yarn tight and wrap at the same time, but it was a great way to work on our fine-motor skills!
