photoWelcome to the new school year and PK1 class! My name is Mrs. Hunter and I am thrilled to be a part of the Pre-School Team at St. Stan’s. This will be my ninth year teaching and my sixth year teaching at St. Stan’s.  I previously taught early childhood education to children with Autism in the United Kingdom. While teaching children with Autism, I earned an MA in Autism Studies and I also hold a BA in Elementary Education and History.

I am so happy to have your child in my classroom this year and look forward to getting to know you and your child better. In order for you to get to know me a little, I thought I would share a few of my interests. I love being in nature and walking in the outdoors. I enjoy camping with very few amenities — as long as the sun is shining! This past summer, my husband and I grew herbs, tomatoes, and hot peppers all from our third-floor condo. I like to watch tense mystery dramas, especially Danish ones.

If you have questions or concerns about any part of the school year please reach out to me by email at:

Let’s work together to make this the best school year ever for your child!
