Today was letter V in our End of the Year Countdown! The students Volunteered in classrooms throughout the school. The students were asked to help teacher clean and organize classrooms for the end of the year. The teachers were very appreciative. Great job 4th grade! Enjoy some pics below:
This Sunday begins Catholic Schools Week. Family Mass will be at 10:00 followed by an Open House. A list of activities will be going home tomorrow. I will post it here on the blog and on Class Dojo as well. We will be participating in many fun activities and celebrating all of the special people in our school 🙂
As we move towards Black History Month, we celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The students have read articles, watched videos and participated in activities centered around his positive message. In class as we read and listened, we wrote down inspirational words. These words were hung up around our classroom and the students wrote what they word meant to them. A few of the words the kids wrote were: change, dream, love, inspiration, equality, and more.
Welcome back 4th grade families! As we begin the 2nd half of our year, we will review expectations and procedures. While I’m confident that the students remember the classroom routines, I feel it necessary to review so I am sure that we are all on the same page. I feel that it will limit any miscommunications that may occur.
I am so excited to be back and am ready take on the rest of the year! I hope the 4th graders are too!
Congratulations to the 4th graders on an amazing performance at the concert! Thank you to Mr. G for all of the hard work he put in to make the program a success. In celebration of their hard work, tomorrow will be a dress down and we will meet with our faith buddies to do a Christmas craft!
