My name is Nicole Almanzo and I am so excited to be in my 3rd year at St. Stan’s! This is my 13th year teaching. I have worked in both Catholic schools and public schools. I have taught in a variety of classrooms such as, Gen Ed classrooms, special education classrooms, and ESL classrooms. I have loved each experience tremendously.
I grew up in a nearby suburb and have lived in the city during college and for a short while after. I went to Roosevelt University where I received my degree in Elementary Education with a minor is Psychology. I am currently working on my ESL (English as a Second Language) endorsement. Upon its completion, I will begin my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. I am looking forward to both upcoming events.
I feel very strongly about parent/teacher communication. I am available through Dojo or email (nsitter@ststanschicago.org) and will do my very best to get back to you as soon as possible. I do have 2 kiddos, so after school hours I may take a bit longer. However, I will be in touch with you as soon as possible. I am so excited for this year! Please do not hesitate to reach out to me!
All the best,
Ms. Almanzo
